FourFourSeconds ago, the ride-hailing company said it had lost contact with a tricycle that fell off a highway near Los Angeles.
The rider was not injured, but the crash happened at 8:46 p.m.
Thursday in the northern part of the state’s Central Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The ride-sharing company, which has nearly 500,000 vehicles on the road, has been in the news recently because of the death of a ride-share driver.
On Tuesday, a man was killed when his bicycle flipped over at an intersection in Oakland.
The California Highway Safety Commission said it would investigate the crash.
It also cited other crashes and accidents that happened this week.
The tricycle is equipped with a GPS device that allows riders to find each other’s destinations and avoid collisions.
