New Zealand is the only country in the world where you can buy a tricycle, and they’re becoming even more popular in the capital, Wellington.
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t any other bikes you could buy, including some that aren’t tricycles at all.
Here’s a guide to the best bikes in the country.

The more modern tricycle has the ability to tow a cargo of up to 40kg.
The tricycle market is big in Auckland, with more than 60,000 tricyclists in the city’s core alone.
The cheapest, but most versatile, tricycle available is the one sold by Biketrail, which offers a two-speed model with a range of options.

They’re relatively cheap, but the price of a wagon tricycle isn’t always that cheap.
A three-speed tricycle can cost between $30 and $40, depending on the equipment, but some newer models have a range from $30 to $60.
